As Spring unfolds, Phase 1 residents of Lowfield Green Housing Coop have nearly all moved in. We’re currently 14 homes, a mixture of 2, 3 and 4-bed homes in Acomb, York and York’s first cohousing community. There’s still plenty to do from fixing up curtain poles, the snag list and phase 2 flats and communal indoor building are still to come.
So far we’ve had group bike cleans, children’s birthday parties on the green in front of the coop, shared meals and we’ve got our top soil arriving this month so it’ll be all hands on deck to get that on our communal outdoor areas.
